Frequently Asked Questions

01

WHAT CONDITIONS DO YOU TREAT?

At Optimal Chiropractic & Health, we are committed to providing high-quality chiropractic care to people of all ages. Our experienced team of chiropractors offer a wide range of treatments to help alleviate pain and discomfort in all areas of the body including, but not limited to: the spine, extremities (arms and legs) and jaw.

02

DO YOU COVER INSURANCE PATIENTS?

We do! We work with a wide range of insurance companies using "cash back" schemes. This involves patients invoicing their insurance company for a refund after paying us at the clinic! We will provide you a thorough invoice to make it as simple as possible.

Unfortunately we do not accept BUPA patients.

03

DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S REFERRAL

Most of the time the answer is no, however, certain insurance companies require a referral from a Doctor. Check the small print in your insurance wording if you are unsure.

04

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

This is difficult to say without a thorough examination as every patient is different!

As expected those who have suffered for years will likely need more treatments than those who have a more recent issue.

Based on clinical guidelines (NICE), a rough estimate is between 10-15 treatments for resolution.

05

HOW WILL I FEEL AFTERWARDS?

Again this is specific to each person, but, generally patients will feel great and looser. It is normal to feel some tenderness after treatment and people can sometimes say they feel achy as if they have just done a workout.
